ARSENAL are looking forward to building a formidable squad that will challenge for the premier league in the coming years.
Besides buying players to help them achieve this goal, they also want to lay down some high-profile stars who been poor or unable to play lately.
This is to ease the salary burden for the North London club as they are running out of money and making losses due to the covid-19 pandemic and inability to play champions league. They have already laid down a number of staff including the scouting agents among others.

Now, it’s understood that Mikel Arteta has reached an agreement with Edu, technical director at the club, on who to sell in the summer. The four players are Alexander Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi, Sokratis Papastatopoulos and Sead Kolasinac.
Lacazette has been having a poor form recently and Mikel will be Keen to offload him as soon as possible due to the salary burden and lack of productivity by the players. He has costed the gunners several times this season by squandering many clean chances.
Guendouzi is also another victim. The discipline issues with the teenager have not impressed Arteta and thus were loaned by the gunners before the beginning of this season. It seems now that Mikel doesn’t have any plans with the teenager in his squad and will be looking to offload him for good.
Next up is Sead Kolasinac whose position has filled very well by Kieran Tierney. The Bosnian international appeared to be leaving the gunners for Bayer Leverkusen in the last transfer window in a deal reported to be about£10 million only for the deal to collapse just before the closure of the window. It is now imminent that the gunners will offload him in summer if not in the January transfer window.
Finally is Sokratis Papastatopoulos who was not even included in the gunners squad for premier league and Europa league. The Greek still have a one year contract at the club but Arsenal seem to have other options at the back and won’t need his services again.
