Antoine Griezmann return to former club, Atletico Madrid from Barcelona on loan with an option to buy.
The French man spent five seasons at Atletico before moving to Barcelona for a fee of around €120 million in 2019.
The forward has scored 35 goals and 17 assists in his 102 appearances for Barcelona.
He has now joined Atletico on loan for the rest of the season, with both clubs holding an option to renew it for a further season.
Atletico meanwhile has let go of Saul Niguez to Chelsea before tonight’s transfer deadline and the Blues have confirmed the deal to on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Griezmann return to Atletico and will be warmly welcomed back to his former home, where he succeeded to be among the top rated player under Diego Simeone last time around
The 30-year-old was booed by Barcelona fans following their 2-1 win over Getafe on Sunday.
Discussing the situation, manager Ronald Koeman was far from happy.

“As a manager, I can’t understand whistling our own player,” he said.
“You could whistle him if he had a bad attitude or didn’t work hard, but Antoine had other difficulties in the game.
“He wasn’t as fortunate as we could hope, but it’s just one game.
“I can ask him for four goals… but we have not created chances for him, either. In addition, in the second half we lost the ball a lot.”
Barcelona, meanwhile, are confident of signing Luuk de Jong as Griezmann’s replacement.
As per multiple reports, De Jong’s move to the Nou Camp has all been agreed and sealed.
