Barcelona according to report are interested in signing Bernado Silva who arrived at Manchester City from Monaco in 2017 for an initial £43.5million fee.
However, the City player will probably be valued much higher by City as his contract is no where over yet till 2025. Barcelona is observing the situation with the performance of the midfielder.
Bernado silver was Manchester City’s player in 2019 with stunning outing during previous the season.
The Portuguese international appeared in 23 Premier League matches for City this season but he struggled to reproduce the form that saw him named their player of the year in 2018-19.
Despite the decline in Silva’s form, his 52 appearances saw him produce eight goals and ten assists this season.
The Telegraph claims that Barcelona could capitalise on the situation with a double move. The La Liga side hope to bring the 26-year old over to Nou camp with a swap deal including Nelson Semedo.
Barca’s right back winger Semedo has been on City’s radar and this seems a plausible deal for the Catalans since the arrival of Ferran Torres for City with more signings to come in the nearest future.
