World cup qualifier between Brazil vs Argentina was suspended as health official storm the pitch.
Lionel Messi reacted angrily when Argentina’s clash with Brazil was brought to a stop by health officials who stormed the pitch to accuse four Argentine players of breaking Covid-19 guidelines.
The Brazilian travel rules state that foreigner who has passed through the United Kingdom, South Africa, Northern Ireland or India in the last 14 days should not be allowed into the country.

Brazilian officials were informed that four Argentine players arrived in the country on a flight from Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.
The four players are said to be Aston Villa duo Emiliano Buendia and Emiliano Martinez, Tottenham Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero.
With three of them in Argentina starting lineup while Buendia start from bench.
Lionel Messi was heard asking them: “We’ve been here for three days, why are you doing this just now?!”

However, the information was confirmed to be false, meaning the health authority informed Brazilian federal police.
The players were therefore urged to undergo a quarantine period or leave the country, an ultimatum which they did not comply with.
CONMEBOL, South American Football Federation, has reportedly told Brazil they will face a point deduction if they insist the four players will not play the re-match.
