Edinson Cavani’s father has disclosed that the Manchester United striker would love to leave Manchester United and join Boca Juniors at the end of the season.
The Uruguayan has enjoyed a successful career with United since he signed one-year contract at Old Trafford with the option of an further year’s extension if he wish to do so.
Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made it known last month that Manchester United were ready to open a conversation with Cavani and discuss about his future on whatever he has in mind.
There have been rumours flying around the news concerning cavani’s next move, but his father has disclosed that Cavani would leave Manchester United and start playing in South America, to be close to his family.
Cavani have always been talking about Boca, maybe because he is familiar with
[Juan Roman] Riquelme [Boca’s sporting director].
His father said “we have always been around him, visiting and having lovely time together. He is around lovely people and always visiting nice place for vacation, work and so on and he is always welcomed everywhere. He make sure he treat people well, love them and has a good number of friends. However, he doesn’t seem to be comfortable with Manchester United at this point of his life.
“He has been contemplating on how he will be closer to his family for about two years now, I feel Cavani would play for a team in South America where he has his family” said is father
