Chelsea are monitoring Arsenal striker Khayon Edwards who could be available on a Bosman deal in the summer transfer window. The 18-year-old striker is one of the most highly-rated young prospects to have come through the academy at Arsenal in recent years.Khayon has impressed for the Arsenal Under-18 outfit so far, already netting 23 goals and setting up nine more in only 41 games. In addition, Edwards has one goal and one assist apiece from six games for the Under-23s.
The English striker is yet to make his first-team debut for the Gunners, but he is enjoying a productive 2021/22 season, having bagged 17 goals from only 22 games across all tournaments for the youth teams and reserves combined.However, Edwards could be on his way out of the Gunners at the end of the campaign as his current scholarship deal with the north London giants stands to expire in a few months. The Blues have one of the most potent youth systems where they have a plethora of exciting young talent coming through the ranks.
