Chelsea continue to hunt for a center defender as they look yet to find Antonio Rudiger perfect replacement.
After signing Kalidou Koulibaly and Wesley Fofana in the summer with both Silva and Azpilicueta aging. Chelsea is in no doubt looking to sign another defender to Stamford Bridge in January transfer.
According to report, the Blues has found interest in 21-year-old Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile.
The French international is also part of France squad in the UEFA Nations League and start against Austria and Denmark.
Accoording to Sport Witness, Chelsea have been among the front-runner ready to sign the defender even though Monaco iscyet to give a green light.
Badiashile also remain happy at Monaco as he is not set to leave the Ligue 1 club yet.
“Being humble and respectful does not mean not being ambitious. I know how to be patient. I’m at a big club, I’m playing and I don’t want to go any faster. If things have to be done, they will be done, like for the World Cup,” Badiashile said.
“You shouldn’t put pressure on yourself with a departure. We were talking about personality in a locker room, if I had left earlier, would I have worked as well as that in recent months?”
However, the deal still remains complicated as we look forward to what happen next.
