Manchester City midfielder Rodri, named the EPL 4 strong title contenders who are likely to challenge a City side he feels have the best squad in the division.
City were beaten on the opening day at Tottenham, but bounced back with successive 5-0 victories over Norwich and Arsenal.
With only Spurs having a 100 per cent start record in the Premier League after three games. Title rivals Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea all on seven points, along with West Ham and Everton.
Pep Guardiola himself stated that he would have loved to claim all nine points,y but considering the circumstances City are well-placed heading into the first international break.
In a view held by the City midfielder Rodri, he said: “In the Premier League there are some unbelievable teams,” he noted.
“Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool. They grow a lot and it is going to be so tough this season like last season. We are going to give 100 per cent like last season. I think we have the best squad in the world, so we are so happy.”
The English Premier League will be back in action after the international break as Manchester City will take on Leicester City, who beat them in the community shield earlier these month.
Rodri said City are not only focussing on getting three points but also a revenge of the community shield loss.
He continued: “We have to respect all the teams. They beat us in the Community Shield. They are an unbelievable team, but all the squads now are getting better and we are not going to win 5-0 every game.
“It is so tough to win 5-0 so we have to respect all of the teams. It is going to be so tough. Always win, that is the mentality. Don’t care about the score, just win.”
