As the 2021 summer transfer window closes on Tuesday night, the deadline transfer day saw some exciting transfer from the wildest rumours to the biggest done deals.
A lot of surprises happened in Europe on the deadline day of the transfer window as players leave their respective clubs to team up with another, whether on loan or permanently.

Here are some of the transfers that happened amidst the frenzy of the final day…
Manchester United announce the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, decades after leaving the club. He has signed a two year contract with option of one more, depending on how things turn out.
Atletico Madrid also announce the return of former player Antonie Griezmann on loan from Barcelona with an option to buy.
Chelsea have signed Saul Niguez on an initial loan deal worth €5m from Atletico Madrid. The Thomas Tuchel side have the option to make the deal permanent for €40m at the end of the season.

Spanish right-back Hector Bellerin left Arsenal to sign for Real Betis on a season long loan. Bellerin was on odds to leave the Emirates this summer and Betis have offered him a year stint to get his career back on track.
Takehiro Tomiyasu joined Arsenal from Bologna in a deal around €20m plus €3m add ons. The 22year old Japanese has signed a contract until 2026 with the Gunners.
Reiss Nelson joined Dutch side Feyenoord Rotterdam on a season long loan from Arsenal. The Arsenal academy graduate had been unable to cement a regular first team football at the club and will spend the next 11 months in Netherlands, to aid his development.
Arsenal have moved out Icelandic Goalkeeper, Rúnar Alex Rúnarsson to Belgian club OH Leuven on an initial loan with option to buy.
West Ham United signed Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow in a deal worth €28m plus add ons. The 23 year old scored 33 goals and registered 21 assists from midfield in just over 100 games for CSKA Moscow. A good siging for David Moyes.
Daniel James joined Leeds United from Manchester United in a £25m deal. He signed a five year contract with the Marcelo Bielsa side.
Marc Cucurella joined Brighton and Hove Albion from Spanish club, Getafe for €18m. He has signed a four-year contract at the AMEX.

Newcastle completed the signing of Mexican forward Santiago Muñoz from Santos Laguna on an initial 18-month loan deal. Newcastle United have the option to make the deal permanent after this spell.
Borussia Dortmund signed Croatian defender, Marin Pongračić from fellow BundesLiga club, Wolfsburg on a season-long loan.
Lookman Ademola, who spent the last season on loan with Fulham has return to the Premier League, joining Leicester City on season long loan from BundesLiga side, RB Leipzig.
Ivorian right-back Serge Aurier left Tottheham Hotspur after contract was terminated on mutual consent.
Crystal Palace have signed Celtic striker Odsonne Édouard for £15m from Celtic FC. He’s put pen to paper on a 4-year deal.
Juventus have re-signed Moise Kean from Everton but on a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy for around €28M plus €3M in add-ons.
RB Leipzig signed La Masia graduate, Ilaix Moriba from Barcelona for around €16m plus €6m with bonuses on a four-year contract. The player had refused contract extension with Barcelona and finally move away.
To the list of the fine signings this summer, PSG Paris-Saint Germain added Nuno Mendes from Sporting Lisbon on an initial loan for a €7m fee. Les Parisens have a €40m buy option next year.

Eduardo Camavinga completed a big summer move to Real Madrid from Rennes for €31m plus add ons on deadline day. He’s signed a six-year contract with Los Blancos.
Pablo Sarabia has joined Sporting CP from PSG on loan. The Spaniard was linked with Atletico Madrid earlier on deadline day but ended up moving to Portugal.
Everton reached an agreement with Dalian Professional to sign former Newcastle striker, Salomón Rondón. Rafa Benitez wants to reunite with the striker and Everton did enough to return him to the Premier league.
Sampdoria have signed the striker Francesco Caputo from Sassuolo on loan with an obligation to make the deal permanent.
Sampdoria centre-back Jeison Murillo joins Celta Vigo on loan with an option to buy.
Cagliari announced the signing of Keita Balde from AS Monaco on a permanent deal.
Sheffield United have signed Robin Olsen from Roma on a season-long loan.
Swansea City have signed Michael Obafemi on a permanent transfer from Southampton.
Bournemouth have signed Ryan Christie from Celtic on a three-year contract. Fee around £2.5m.
