Real Madrid has announced Eder Militao has been tested positive for coronavirus before their Champions League clash with Inter Milan.
The 22-year-old Brazilian will now undergo a mandatory period of self-isolation.
The club also revealed that no other positive results were recorded from the newest round of testing except Militao.
A statement from Madrid said: ‘Real Madrid would like to inform you that our player, Eder Militao, has tested positive in the COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, Sunday morning.
‘All the opposite players and therefore the technical staff from the primary team, also as all the workers of the club who work directly with them, tested negative therein the same test.
‘The club would like to verify once more that everybody, except Eder Militao, tested negative within the antigen tests administered that very same morning.’

Éder Gabriel Militão is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Brazil football team.
