CHELSEA: As January transfer window draws closer to being officially opened, several teams are already planning to reinforce their squads to help fight for major competitions.
Hence, according to reports from Germany outlet Bild, Chelsea is looking to sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba in a free transfer with the Blues set to open talks with the player’s agent in January ahead of an official move next summer.

Alaba is on the verge of facing the end of his contract with Bayern as he only has months existing in his current contract with the Bundesliga giants hence, he could be a free agent next summer if a new deal is not agreed and a move to Chelsea could be on the cards.
The 28 year old has been a huge hit and is one of the most promising defenders in the world of football with his versatility being his major strengths and Chelsea signing him could be a major coup for the Frank Lampard’s side.
