Tsimikas Kostas hails from Greece and he plays left back position for Greece at the Under 19 in 2014, Under 21 in 2016 and later got promoted to the senior team in 2018.
The 24-year-old put pen on pen on paper for a five-year contract with the EPL title holders Liverpool at a transfer fee of £11.75million.
Tsimikas was a part of the team that won the 45th Super League title. Prior to that he has been on loan from Olympiakos to Esbjerg and Willem II from 2016 to 2018. He returned to Olympiakos and since have been on Liverpool’s list of players to woo over to the winning side.
He has a total of 5 goals playing for the two clubs as a loanee than playing for Olympiakos senior team in a total of 46 appearances in the Super league with no goals.
And he told Liverpool’s website: “I’m very happy, I’m very proud to be here. For me, it’s the biggest club in the world. It’s an honour to be here and I will give my best.
“The league here, I like a lot. I watch it on the TV and it was always one dream I had from when I was a kid to come to play in this league and to come through.
“I want to achieve our goals. To win the league again and also to win the Champions League.”
