Report claims the Glazer family will be offering to sell Manchester United for a bid of over $10 billion.
United have last won the premier league since 2013 and fans are not happy with the owners.
Supporters have been staging a protests at the Old Trafford for months asking for the sale of the club.
But the Glazers family kept mute and are reluctant to sell the club or even place it on market.
According to Daily Star, it will cost a whole lot of money for the Glazers family to sell the club.
A record fee which would see Manchester United become the most expensive sport team ever in history.
NFL side, Denver Broncos, currently hold that record after being sold to the Walton-Penner family for $4.65 billion earlier this year.
Manchester United valuation will also be more expensive than the Dallas Cowboys as the five-times Super Bowl champions is valued around $8 billion.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe emerge potential buyer of Manchester United some months ago following a protest held at Old Trafford.

The INEOS founder showed interest in the club but no further discussion take place with the Glazers family.
Ratcliffe during an event hosted by Financial Times on Tuesday discussed about Manchester United.
He said: “Manchester United is owned by the Glazer family, whom I have met. I’ve met Joel and Avram and they are the nicest people I have to say, they are proper gentlemen.
“They don’t want to sell it. It’s owned by the six children of the father and they don’t want to sell it.”
The British second richest man who owns OGC Nice also showed interest in the Stamford Bridge club back then.
He continued: “If it had been for sale in the summer then, yes, we would have probably had a go following on from the Chelsea thing, but we can’t sit around hoping that one day Manchester United will become available.
“We have an exciting sporting franchise, but the one thing we don’t have is a premier league team.
“The most popular sport in the world is football and it is the sport we were brought up with and it’s the one most close to us. We really should have an asset in the sporting franchise.”
Manchester United after coming back from a 6-3 demolition to Manchester City, defeat Everton in a 2-0 at Goodison Park.
A win which saw Ronaldo and Antony Santos make history as they both appear on the score sheet.
United will return to action on Thursday night in Europa League return leg against Omonia Nicosia.
