Jose Mourinho was skeptical about what Kane injury would look like after their last EPL game, he wasn’t so sure about the injury but he felt it’s a minor injury and won’t hinder him from playing against Arsenal
Ahead of Sunday’s huge north London derby clash with Arsenal, Kane was substituted and cameras showed ice being applied to his knee.
Spurs fans will hope it is only precautionary and the striker was seen walking around at the full-time whistle without the ice pack, seemingly untroubled by any injury.
And manager Jose Mourinho disclosed it was only a minor issue which wouldn’t keep him out of the Arsenal game.
“I hope so, and I believe so,” Mourinho said when asked if Kane will recover. “It is a big match, only big problems would stop him to be there. Let’s see the outcome tomorrow, but I am sure he will be fine.”
“His finishing is ridiculous and his hunger to score goals is above anyone on both teams.”
It was a routine night for Spurs, who were far superior to their Croatian opponents and appear to have one foot in the quarter-finals already.
Kane started and finished a free-flowing move which saw Erik Lamela’s shot bounce off the post and straight into his path early on.
And some clever work helped Kane double the lead in the second-half following an error from Dinamo.
