Manchester United are no doubt reloaded with top players in the world football with them having world-class midfielders at their disposal.
Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Donny Van De Beek, Nemanja Matic, Scot Mctomminay, and Fred Rodrigues are all considered top midfielders in the United squad as they put on an excellent performance when called upon.

However, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has found it difficult to field his star midfielders in the same lineup. Hence, he should consider a change of position to Scot Mctomminay who has relatively performed well at the Central defense for his national team.
The 23 year old is one of the most versatile players in the United squad with him able to comfortably play at the central defence, box to box midfield and as a defensive midfielder.
In the UEFA Nations League, Mctomminay has shown glimpses of promise at the center back for Scotland with him even helping his side qualify for the 2021 Euros with an impressive performance at the central defence.
Scot Mctomminay is tall, agile and a commanding presence and hence could be a huge hit at the central defense more than in the midfield.
