Reece and Lauren James makes history as they become the first brother and sister to feature for England at the national level.
Following Lauren James international cap on Saturday evening, she now join his brother in England senior teams.
As they both are now playing for the England senior team for men and women at the same time.
Lauren previously played for England U-19 team has been a leading talent before been called upon to the Lioness.
The 20-year-old has battle with fitness issue following his move to Chelsea from Manchester United in 2020/21 season.
The Lioness boss, Sarina Wiegman said following Lauren call-up: “We have been following her since I came in and my former colleagues [were following her],”
“She didn’t play that much [last season], but she did play some games. We know she’s a very talented player.”
Manchester United women’s manager Casey Stoney also said in 2019 that Lauren was a talent like she had never seen before.
Lauren was subbed on in the last 11 minutes as England edge Austria to a win as they secure their place in 2023 Women’s World Cup.
In so doing, she also wrote her family name to the history book together with his brother, Reece James.
James on the other hand has been called up to England senior team since 2020 being one of Chelsea most talented player in recent years.
Reece James took to his Twitter page to celebrate with his junior sister on their achievement.
