After a shocking summer transfer, football fans have been asking where will Chelsea and Man United finish in EPL table following the return of Ronaldo and Lukaku.
The summer transfer came to an end with lots of suprising and unimaginable transfer seeing players returning back home to clubs where they came into limelight.
Former England and Aston Villa player, Gabriel Agbonlahor have also has his say on where the two premier league giants will finish at the end of the season.
As many has been saying, the Englishman also believe the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo is not enough for Manchester United to be a genuine contender for the EPL title.
Chelsea ended fourth position last season, winning the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup following the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as new head coach in January.
The Blues have strengthened their squad this summer with the additions of Romelu Lukaku and Saul Niguez, and they have made a solid start to the new campaign.
Manchester United finished in second place last season behind Manchester City in and will be looking to improve their form this term after the signings of Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, as well as Ronaldo.
On where Man United will finish the EPL Table
Speaking to talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said: “Then when you think their business is done, they bring in the joint-best player ever to play the game, Ronaldo.
“Just to attract a massive signing like that shows how Man United are trying to win trophies this season. He’ll have a huge impact on that dressing room.
“But will it be enough to win Man United the Premier League title?
“No, I don’t think it will. I still think they are missing a key part of the jigsaw – a midfielder that can control the games”
On where Chelsea will finish the EPL Table
He said: “For me, it will be a straight fight between Chelsea and Manchester City for the title this season.
“Jack [Grealish] offers City a different dimension and gives their squad better quality. Yes, they could’ve done with another forward but Ferran Torres has shown that he’s a striker in the making.
“You’ve also got Gabriel Jesus who’s looked much better this season as well so I think City have had a decent window.
“However, for me, Chelsea are the strongest team and I think they will just edge out City and become champions.
“They look like they can strangle teams. They look like they’ll concede the least goals this season.”
Both Chelsea and Man United will resume their premier league games next Saturday after the international break as the face Aston Villa and Newcastle respectively.
