With the way Arsenal are playing right now, all the optimism that accompanied Arteta’s troops at the beginning of the season is quickly diminishing. Arsenal fans could be forgiven for thinking that this was finally going to be their year after captain Aubameyang signed a new contract.
However, this did not turn up to be true as Arsenal are currently in 12th position two places below Manchester United whom they had triumphed against earlier at Old Trafford for their first win in a decade. As if that was not enough, Aubameyang has only scored one goal since signing his contract extension.
Arsenal and Arteta were lucky not to lose by a horrific scoreline against a dominant Leeds United, however, the likes of Tottenham and Wolves cannot be that forgiving against the gunners. Arsenal will first have to navigate through their European exertions before facing a dangerous Wolves in the Premier League.
Arsenal’s defense is one of the strongest ones in the League. Their misfiring attack however is what Wolves will be counting on as they will look to hit Arsenal on the break through the d angerous duo of Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez. Surely this must be one tough game for the gunners
